I tried finding the PB mid-seventies specials but couldn't locate them to check the photos. I would very likely be convinced by seeing the entire spread.

Some further digging in the fictioneer archives has been successful. It's the 1975
Love Games, the one with the blue-gray cover, and the pictorial in question is entitled "Sophistication" by Andreas Russ. No model identifications are given. It appears on pp 65-72 of the book. The oft-reprinted photo is the first in the series.
