Why put a picture on your body for life which you wouldn't put on your wall for a week?

Too many women have too much bad tattoo art flung on - 'slag tags' across the back, horrific climbing plants entwining their way, looking like varicose vein covers, dream catchers, gothic suns,...my sister in law has a lovely butterfly in the small of her back which symbolises her emergence from a crap marriage. I can understand that - but she was more attractive without in all honesty.
I've seen some fantastic tattoo art, beautifully rendered but as fascinating and admirably executed as it might be, I'm still firmly in the 'NO' camp.

Which, I'm told, makes me 'old'.
