Apparantly mail adresses with:

@outlook.com, @live.com, @hotmail.com and @msn.com

cannot receive nor can send email from January 10th, 2017.

I have only limited knowledge in these matters:

it seems outlook.com is an alternative but has to activated.

also mozilla thunderbird and Gmail ( google mail?)are alternatives.

Yet i do not know more/ full details.

Hopefully members with more technical skills can help in this?
