Default Brandi's bio (penned circa 1997)

Brandi's life has changed dramatically recently. When interviewed for "The Playmate Book" in April 1996, she was married to Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx, the father of her two sons and one daughter. By the time of the books publication that November, they had split up, and in January 1997, Sixx married September 1995 Playmate Donna D'Errico - who, when interviewed, said shed been too busy with her career since arriving in Hollywood to even think about dating.

The newly single mom -- "I have a boyfriend and he's really sweet, but I'm not rushing into anything" -- is getting back into the career track she abandoned when she married. "I took a long break having my babies", she says, "but PB did so much for my career when I first became a Playmate that I hope it will do a lot for me again. I'm modeling -- I recently posed for a 'Playmates Revisited' feature -- and studying acting."

Brandi describes her previous credits as "pretty small stuff. I played myself as a Playmate on 'Married With Children', and I was kind of a babe in a Ferrari in the movie 'Can't Buy Me Love'. I was a gypsy in 'Another Wedding Band', with Pauly Shore and Fran Drescher. Then you might have seen me in some Taco Bell commercials : I was a burrito-eating girl jumping out of moving convertibles."

This time, she says : "I want to take my time and get good at acting, so I'll know what I'm doing. I'm taking a class in improvisation and another in cold reading, and it's going really well."
