I honestly never thought that someone would ever ask me why I wear a watch. I'm not going to even dignify that with a reply.
I have worn a wrist watch for as long as I can remember. I am a Luddite when it comes to my wrist watch. I have never worn a digital watch and I never will. I like the old conventional analog watch with hour, minute and sweep second hands. I also prefer a Speidel Twist-o-Flex wristband or equivalent. I will not wear a belt type buckle wrist band on my watch. I also prefer inexpensive wrist timepieces. I tend to be hard on watches and cannot see spending lots of money on them. Pulsar makes a great wristwatch.
I did briefly wear a Mickey Mouse watch for a few years that was a gift.
