Though Morrissey himself is the epitome of the delusional celebrity with a God complex who dictates very definitely and self righteously about subjects he doesn't even understand the absolute easy to understand basics of with even the most basic of critical thinking. My main example would be that in trying to completely discredit left politics, he said that, "Hitler was Left Wing!". Hitler believed that Marxists, Social Democrats, and the parliament were all working for Jewish interests. Hitler spoke of the genocide of inferior races in Mein Kempf. Union organizers were jailed, sent to labour camps or killed as a matter of course under his leadership. Hitler's, "National Socialists" were not about left wing values but what he regarded as German interests such as ruling the world through their racial superiority and killing off dissent and self-perceived weaker elements such as disabled people.
FYI Morrissey: To kill people because you think they are inferior due to not being Aryan, not being in prime health, because they want to organize as a group for better workplace rights and invading other countries to rule, steal their wealth and subjucate their citizens is not Left Wing! You ridiculously thick, dumb ass!!!

I agree with that. Some of the songs The Smiths released back in the 80's (such has
This Charming Man and
How Soon Is It Now?) I actually quite like.
But he himself is just completely insufferable!
It's a case of I like what he DOES but not WHO he is.
