And, even as a man, I can see where a woman would consider Clooney to be attractive in a sort of channeling Cary Grant/very old school suave hip cool macho male kind of way.
To me, though, that explains more as to why Clooney is an A-List celebrity than an A-list movie star. Like, even as far back as the 1990s when Clooney's bankability as a movie star was rising, I never thought particularly highly of the films he was appearing in...or his acting abilities. He has precious little range.
