I'm looking for more information about photographer Jean Straker (1913-1984) who founded the Soho based Visual Arts Club in 1951. Straker's pictures were considered pornography under the Obscene Publications Act and in 1961 over 1600 of his negatives and 233 of his prints were confiscated.
