Karen was featured in a PB mansion photoshoot called "Midsummer Night's Dream" or something like that - she's posing with Hefner in the first photo. Can't remember her last name so maybe someone else can help out with that.
It's possible that she actually did do a centerfold that simply never ran, which must happen from time to time. In the Penny Baker profile video there's one of those scenes of Hefner looking over photos on a light table - Penny's centerfold is there along with Donna Spier, but then there's a third centerfold that was never printed in the magazine with a girl I don't recognize.
