The UK government recently announced something call 'The Fusion Doctrine' – the name of the UK’s new security and defence strategy.
Described as a mechanism to “strengthen [Britain’s] collective approach to national security,” the Fusion Doctrine aims to combine and harness the UK’s economic, security, technological, and military capabilities (whilst actually cutting Britain's front-line defence force) with this objective in mind.
