When I was looking for some history of the Alpha France studio's and ideally a complete list of films they had produced I came across this:
Alpha France is the name of a French film production company specializing in the production of porn films (French "X Films"). Founded in 1972 by Francis Mischkind, was one of the first manufacturers of pornographic films in 35 mm, intended for cinemas. In 1975 the Alpha France has released his most famous films: Le Sexe qui parle (Sex-speaking), also known under the English title of Pussy Talk. The film marked a new and innovative way in the movie theater and was a resounding success. Between 1976 and 1983 the house produced more than 150 porn movies. The film, a standard in France in repayments home on VHS, are an example of the golden age of French and European pornographic films, thanks to new distribution that have been in digital format. Since 1977, the absolute star of the movie studio movie was Brigitte Lahaie, intelligent actress who has made more than 30 productions for Alpha France. Brigitte Lahaie became the symbol of a new way, free and open to understanding sexuality. 1983 was the last film of great financial commitment "L'initiation d'une femme mariée" which constitutes a milestone in the genre, after which the company has produced few new films and especially care of the dissemination and exploitation of the best catalog , that dates back to the seventies..
This was the only history of Alpha France studio's I could find. Bridget does appear in
"Estivantes en chaleur" (1979) but only in a dream sequence and not in the DVD version according to egafd.
FRANCOIS30 thanks for your list of Brigitte Lahaie films but it is not what I asked for, I am only looking for the Alpha France titles that she has appeared in. But it is of some help, who knows maybe Alpha France may have also released some of them under their own label too?.
On the subject of Alpha France, they seem to have come to some agreement with some V.O.D company's and are releasing titles that I have not seen listed anywhere, so maybe a hidden gem or two may appear!
Unfortunately what I have seen of them, they appear to have not had the special treatment and to be perfectly honest they look as if they have been badly edited (black borders badly cut, parts of logo and titles cut) or bad rips from VHS tapes..such a shame.
My conclusion is until we find a definitive list of Alpha France titles we will never really know for sure.
