Sorry if these scans are not as straight-edged as I've done in the past. My old Dell computer died, and the old HP printer/scanner (still working) isn't compatible with the new Dell computer, so I've also had to get a new printer, also Dell. However, I am not a happy chappie, and I'm thinking of returning it and seeing if a new HP would work with the new computer. The Dell printer/scanner is missing two very useful features that the old HP had: scans are saved as Bitmap (not compatible with Imagevenue) and there's no way to change the default setting to Jpeg, and there's no way to rotate the picture before scanning. I don't know if this equipment digression is against the rules, but right now I am really p.o.'d at Dell.
