Gale Storm was an American-born actress/singer, born as Josephine Owaissa Cottle in Bloomington, Texas on April 5, 1922 and died on June 27, 2009.
She starred in two 1950's sitcoms, My Little Margie and The Gale Storm Show, and recorded a number of hits, such as a cover of Smiley Lewis' "I Hear You Knockin", Dean Martin's "Memories Are Made Of This", and Bonnie Guitar's haunting ballad "Dark Moon", to name a few.
