Thanks for posting those suggestions, qws.
I thought it might be useful to gather some first impressions. Beware: the following notes are simply/largely from the site docs., not from direct experience/testing.
----
depic.me
file retention: forever
formats: JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG
max filesize: 2mb, 10mb for premium
storage limit: 75mb, 1000mb for premium (but upgradable)
----
imageho.me
thumb size: 180px
couldn't find any other site docs., e.g. terms of service, faq, etc.
----
imagezilla.net
file retention: images inactive after 8 months will be deleted. They also say: "Beware of hosts claiming they never delete images."
formats: gif, jpg & png
max filesize: 10mb
storage limit: none (guest or registered)
thumb size: 150px, or can customise, e.g. to 180px?
check box to flag adult images
----
mahometown
is that a site?
----
picstate.com
couldn't find any site docs.
----
pixhost.to
formats: gif, png, jpg
gallery creation: yes
max filesize: 10mb
radio button to flag adult images
----
radioactiveimage.com
storage limit: 16mb
thumb size: 150px
no login/accounts?
couldn't find any other site docs.
----
sharenxs.com
error 521 -> error 502
----
turboimagehost.com
file retention: forever
formats: jpg, jpeg, png, gif
max filesize: 10mb
thumb size: 150px
flag adult images
max 30 images/files per upload using archive (zip, etc.) file upload
max archive filesize: 150mb
I briefly tried using this host some months/year+ back and there were no gallery views then.
----
uploadhouse.com
formats: JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, and BMP
max filesize: 2mb
max 20 files at a time
banned in many parts of China
----
I've skipped some that are:
already well known/widely used on vef, i.e. imagevenue & p&h
Also skipped:
pixxxels.cc
postimage.org
because already discussed some here.
----
edit: just tried to register for imagezilla & they accepted, but then say my login details are wrong.
I even tried their "forgot password" link, as a double-check, but it says my email address is wrong--i.e. their (automated) systems have not accepted me as a registered member. Maybe they're not accepting new registered members at present?
Can't say it's a good sign.
