No point speculating

I recall the last time IB changed hosts it took many weeks of preparation and then some to bed down properly and that was without a bad server in the mix.

Personally i'll be ignoring them until we're told by someone who has some
factual information straight from the Admin on IB

Which says the recovery process is over

Otherwise your guessing whats alive / dead

I learned that Imagebam had a bad server. Data recovery is being attempted but no promises on how successful it will be.

Might be smart to simply wait awhile until everything settles

From what i've been checking from avery small sample through March , April & May
there seems to be a cut off date

Full sized - 30.3.17 and before for 2017 - Alive

31.3.17 and up to and including 12.5.17 - dead

There appear to be random pics posted outside these dates
in previous years that are also inaccessible

I think all in all just the fact that Imagebam and Imgbox are not "closing their doors" is BIG and a real blessing, and we just need to be a little patient until they resolve their issues. ;)

Good news, but I already transitioned all of my posts lol. Oh well.

Just wondering, do we have some sort of press release saying they aren't actually shutting down? Was trying to upload some images today using their api....

The site appears to be down through the normal address (spoke too soon)

Reachable via proxy anonymouse but login doesnt work

database issues one would presume - looks to be widespread but intermittent

Just tested this 46 post - 6 alive using IHG

Manually they come and go - sometimes dead , other times alive
- pic descriptions are sometimes original other times numbers
- maybe a backup is in play who knows
