Lisa De Leeuw - discussion

Are we aware of any scenes in which Lisa and Flame appeared together?

Admiral Kirk May 17th, 2017 03:48 AM

Lisa De Leeuw is actually very much alive. Good news! :-)

belmondo September 23rd, 2017 07:59 PM

She's still alive.

kenny46 September 23rd, 2017 08:04 PM

She died of Aids on 11th November 1993

Although nobody seems to have any details of this and there is the enduring belief that she simply wanted "out" from the adult movie business and decided to make a complete break and vanish.

Could we maybe do a moratorium on this whole "She is! She is not!" nonsense?

This has been addressed before more thoughtfully as these examples from 2009 will show

I remember an article in Hustler saying Lisa moved together with her husband to a certain US state to have a baby. I'll try to find this Hustler issue in my archives..

here it is (Hustler Erotic Video Guide, october 1989)

Duh.

This isn't quite as bad as taking Luke Ford as gospel but it's in the ballpark...

But what's Jennings' source on Lisa? How was the proclamation made? Where was the proclamation made? Usually if you're going to blow the lid off something like that you have some sort of evidentiary proof to back it up. But I'm not seeing it. I'm just seeing some guy say it happened but he offers nothing to back it up. Not exactly convincing.

Until someone comes up with documented evidence no one knows one way or another past an unsubstantiated announcement in Headpress 25 as mentioned by DARPA above.

Quackerson September 24th, 2017 01:10 AM

Which, if she wanted out from the industry, I would respect that. I wouldn't want her outed against her wishes, in terms of exposing her real name or where she lived today.

The whole "she died of AIDS in the early 1990s"...I mean, I'm not saying it couldn't be true. But I've seen no proof of that other than claims of it that have no documentary evidence whatsoever to back it up. Like, what was her real name, where did she die (hospital? which hospital? at home? where was that, exactly? who was with her when she died? how do we know this?), etc. Is there a gravesite? Headstone?

Admiral Kirk October 31st, 2017 02:05 PM

Maybe "Lisa De Leeuw" is "dead," but the actual person who worked under that name definitely ISN'T. I don't want to trample upon her privacy, so I can't go into details about how I know. Let's just say I stumbled upon the fact because I happened to be in the right place at the right time.

But she's alive and well and apparently very happy, which is nice to know.

Quackerson November 5th, 2017 09:34 PM

Oh, to be sure, if she's still alive, I wouldn't want her current identity and present whereabouts exposed.

I think it's totally her right to walk away from the industry and live an anonymous life.

It's just funny in that there are a lot of porn stars, male and female, who were active within the business during the late 1970s/1980s/early 1990s and are said to have "died from aids" but when you try to track back to where that info came from, you rarely find the ''died from aids'' claims originated from any documented source or a person who went on the record at the time and made that claim.

Lisa De Leeuw

There is proof out that Lisa was still alive and kicking, The Rialto Report confirmed it on their twitter some time ago I would like to believe so anyway.
