I have had problems with them for ages, even thinking of reverting back to depositfiles!

Anything over 1 gig has failed unless split 500...but now it seems no one likes a file unless its one link, but unfortunatly they don't appreciate the time uploaders do to give one link!!!

1. Use the uploader they recommend. They have a version of that now that does not require java.

2. If you still have issues, split the files... I do because I provide mirrors that have an upload limit. If people complain, oh well

I am using Filezilla or FlashFXP for uploading.

FTP works pretty well and the biggest advantage is that "resume transfers" is supported.
My uploads often fail due to my shitty provider, but resume saves me time and traffic.

To login use:

Code:

address: ftp.1fichier.com Port: 21
username: your 1fichier-login-name
pass: your password

transfer mode: binary (Filezilla and FlashFXP does this automatically)

After uploading go to "FTP publication", hit "publish files" and wait about 1 to 5 minutes. ;)

Edit: I recently had to click "publish files" a second time because only one of the multiple files was transfered on the first click.

Enjoy.

What is the filesize limit @ 1fichier ? I am loading up via ftp. I would load up some files about 1,5 GB.

P.s.: Via ftp i have still no problems !:)

Under the Faq/help @ 1fichier you can read this !

Go here: http://1fichier.com/hlp.html ----> see which limits ?

Me: free as well as premium you can upload files up to 50GB.

I prefer alot smaller, max 2GB, for people who don't have premium 50gb would be insane to download :D.

C ;).

This thread seems to be about Uploads, but here is a download question:

Has anyone else had any trouble downloading from 1Fichier during the past few days?

Every time I've tried downloading from there since about Tuesday I think it was I've just got a page saying that the file is "Not Found." This is with recent posts, so I can be certain that the files haven't been removed; but I don't know what else could be happening.

(It also says, when I try again, that only one file can be downloaded at once.)

I've never had any trouble with 1Fichier before, and all other hosts are working just as they always did.

Please post links to these posts. ;)

Thank you for your very quick reply.

This is one:

http://lvm5p0.1fichier.com

edit I hope this kind of link is what you meant.

but it does the same on all of them.

It's one of Denaniel's, so one knows it's going to be ok. This time when I clicked on it I just got the "can't download more than one file at a time" message.

I have the NoScript script blocker, but 1Fichier is on the white list (though a message about cross-site scripting has sometimes started appearing at the top of the page).

Probably related to their last news.

Please note that files of free users are now removed after 60 days of innactivity instead of 90 days.
But I'm not sure about that.

Edit: Your link posted above is working fine here.

It must be something to do with my computer, then. I've had no end of trouble with Windows update as well, the dam' thing.

Thanks.
