Imagebam. What does it mean when it just says "loading"? And, why am I seeing so many of them on Imagebam? The images eventually never load...
Many threads are broken due to this.
Pity.

Loading - that goes on an on - in my experience with imagebam servers manually
means unavailable

(issues with interfering browser add-ons/extensions aside)

If it was posted from 30.3.17-12.5.17 and is on server 101 - bookmark and revisit in 4 weeks

Imagebam are trying to recover server 101
- no exact time limit has been given for how long it will take nor any guarantees of how much will be restored

If its on other imagebam servers - bookmark and try in an hour or tomorrow
They are very unstable as we speak

They started moving the entire database to a new host sometime in june 2017

Howdy folks,

I don't know if this is news or not, but I didn't know it, so thought I would post it.

I was looking at yet another failed Imagebam image screen the other day, and decided to click the save button.
Low and behold, the scan came up. Looked like in view photo mode.
Twice now, I have clicked that button and got the photo, then I saved it.
Seemed like the full size image. 900+ KB size on one of them
So try it out next time you don't get an image on Imagebam.
BTW - It doesn't always work, but worth a try.

Update - Using firefox
Over 20 times now that I got the photo by clicking the save icon.
Seems to work best on newer uploads.

Its been hit & miss all too often - when is it dead or alive?

Using chrome today one dead thumb was suddenly alive a minute later

I just fired up palemoon for the 1st time this year and find an emergency update javascript fix

I tried Moonpale, Chrome, Firefox and still almost half of pics are gone.

I tried this post from that thread and 35 images resulted in a 404 (not found).

This has nothing to do with your browser.

Generally It does not look that bad. I analyzed 600 posts from the last 7 days.
Count is the number of images that succeeded or failed to download per host.

imagebam has a fail rate of about 0.5%.

Solution of sorts
 

Click on thumb in browser in vef post - if full image doesnt open

- go to imagebam gallery top right - try same thumb - opens full image that is playing dead but
of course dead means dead - IB has at least 4 problem servers about 101 being the worst

I can only guess that entering the imagehosts gallery gives access to a better link
especially for older dormant posts

i can`t open any Picture on Imagebam here in Germany. If i try it , there is a Headline
"Continue to your Image " . Klick on it and a Window with "LIVE JASMIN " opened , again and again . . . .
That runs three weeks or longer .

When you get the "Continue to your Image" message, don't click it. Press F5 on your keyboard instead. That should bypass the message and load the image.
