Did you want to discuss specific episodes or just the series in general? When it first aired, I watched it because I was into super heroes and it was on the same night as the Hulk. I was still in that "girls are icky" faze then, so I really wasn't a fan. Hard to believe I ever thought Lynda Carter was icky.

Anyway, puberty hit, and I really started digging the female super heroes, but, unfortunately, no local stations ever showed reruns of Wonder Woman. I finally got to see some reruns of Wonder Woman in college and fell in love with the show. I couldn't believe I didn't start liking girls when I first caught a glimpse of Lynda Carter...I now think it would be a toss up between Lynda and Jane Seymour as to who is the most beautiful celebrity ever....although I think I would give the nod to Lynda.

Wonder Woman was actually on the air a year or two before The Incredible Hulk, though when the latter show premiered, it aired immediately after on Friday nights. It was small consolation for me(and doubtless many thousands of other teenage boys) when it went off the air that it was replaced by The Dukes of Hazzard, said consolation being Catherine Bach.

I've since learned that Wonder Woman switched networks from ABC to CBS. I didn't remember if the Hulk was on at the time she went to CBS or not. The Hulk did have a couple of TV movies before it became a show. I was already into the Hulk due to the comics, and, even as young as I was then, I still remember being very excited about the Hulk TV movie.

Since that was still in my "girls are icky" period, I probably liked the Dukes better at the time, although I much prefer Wonder Woman now. No offense to Catherine Bach's fans, but I consider Lynda Carter to be THE ideal of female perfection, so I don't think Daisy would have measured up to Wonder Woman for me post-puberty.

I was more into the Hulk as a kid, but now like most 80s shows (A-team etc) I find them very difficult to watch, except Wonder Woman and Buck Rodgers. Yeah, they are not the greatest for storyline, but give me a scantily clad Lynda or Erin any day of the week.

Lynda is Miss Universe after all ;)

I think the problem with 1970s/80s shows was two-fold...one, they tried to deliver a "message" instead of just trying to be entertaining. Two, there was a backlash against violence that made the show-makers tone down the action. If you notice, Wonder Woman and the Hulk mostly just toss around the bad guys and never really hit them...Well, almost. If you see the Wonder Woman pilot movie with Lynda Carter, she punches people out. I thought it was funny that she took all the guys out with one punch, but when she takes on Stella Stevens, we are treated to a fight scene that lasts a few minutes. I haven't seen the original Wonder Woman pilot with Cathy Lee Crosby in years, so I don't remember how it was action wise....I do remember it was terrible and hope I never do see it again.

That said, if you live in the United States, MeTv shows the 1950s Superman, 60s Batman, 70s Hulk and Wonder Woman and 60s Star Trek on Saturday nights. I've been watching the Hulk since it returned and am enjoying it. I already watched the other shows. Even though I wasn't born until the 70s, I've noticed that a lot of my favorite shows are from the 1960s, including my two favorite comedies, ever. Even though I like the straight hair and more natural make-up of the 70s, I think there were a greater number of beautiful women on tv in the 60s. I posted an interview with Lynda over on her thread, and she mentioned there weren't a lot of beautiful women on TV at the time and that one of the producers told her women would hate her because she was sexy.

The Cathy Lee Crosby Wonder Woman was so low budget it may not have had a stunt coordinator. What few fight scenes there were are all shot in extreme closeup to hide the fact that they're not choreographed at all. But the intros to them have so much promise; if only, if only. Beyond that the acting was decent, and the story at least made sense. It wasn't great, but it wasn't irredeemably bad, either.

There was a 2 part episode that was made into a made for television movie of Wonder Woman: The boy who knew Dianna's Secret (Wonder Woman aka Dianna Prince played by Lynda Carter).

Yeah mate, it is towards the end of the 3rd series. Ill get there :)

Having seen some of the DC showcase videos and the Batmanvsuperman, its very clear wonder woman got all serious. I kinda prefer this version, Lynda badly smacking up Nazi scum is much more satisfying than a green screen and CGI Gal.
I watched some Supergirl, and although it isnt very good, it doesnt take itself too seriously.Melissa Benoist is very easy on the eyes.
Alas, I grew up in a generation where porn was not so easily available. :D

Yeah, I'm like you...I grew up back before the internet and even VCRs. In addition to the Lynda Carter version and Yvonne Craig's Batgirl and Julie Newmar's Catwoman, I was a young comic book fan and I hope this isn't too weird for anyone, but I had an...admiration...for several female comic book characters.
