Out of the countless number of threads in this forum, I find it difficult to believe there is not a thread dedicated to the drop-dead gorgeous Arcadia Lake. So allow me to start one.

IMO the most stunning woman to appear on screen during her day.

It's a shame that she did her work in front of the camera during a time when the technology was so crappy. I think a lot of her scenes don't do her justice due to bad lighting, bad camera angles, bad editing, etc.

Nonetheless, any Arcadia is good Arcadia, so let's bring it on.

I agree 100 percent, and was a little shocked to learn she had died of drugs. Whenever she did a scene with another girl, the camera (or editing) always seemed to favor the other girl. She's proof (I was about to say living proof) that a girl doesn't need big breasts to be arousing.

If Eric Edwards actually said that (and I have no reason to doubt you) then he's an ungrateful and ungentlemanly prick, since he was married to her. Maybe she did coke because he was an asshole?

She was very pretty and quite impish with a twinkle in her eye. Like a lot of latter day starlets, she had genuine sex appeal. Not forced or contrived. She just had "it". One of my favorite scenes is in "American Pie" with Lake portraying a 50's teenager goading Eric Edwards to chase her down and finish her off.

But in Eric's defense...
 

Edwards said that she got him on coke, using his attachment to her and money (at the time) to keep her supplied. The money began to run out, and he foolishly, got her into the porn biz to make a living.
Naturally, it all got worse. Perhaps this was his subconscious way of getting back at her? In any event, she dumped him when his money ran out, leaving him bitter and addicted to the damn stuff.
Of course, this is only his version; we'll never get her side of it.

Your quite right Doyle. There's always two sides to every story and even though I'm sure Edwards' points are valid there might also been her side of things as to why things were the way they were, and yes, we won't ever hear her version.

Bottom line is that it it's a shame she's gone, she was such a beautiful woman.

Don't forget that she was in Debbie Does Dallas and has a okay scene when a she shares a bj with another girl. She was the one that I wanted to see in the film get it totally done to her but that never happened.
