I have been watching a few of the videos made in the 1980s and have been reminded of something that always used to bug me about them.
I seem to remember in most films the cum shot was on the girl's belly or back. Very rarely did a woman have sperm in the mouth or on the face. In fact it was so rare I can list most of the ones I remember:

Traci Lords in 'The Grafenberg Spot'
Angel in 'Agent Vacuum'
Heather Wayne in 'Night Prowlers'[I think]
Veronica Hart in 'Delicious'
Constance Money in 'A Taste of Money'
Ginger Lynn in 'The Pleasure Hunt'

I can remember reading an interview in Knave with Annette Haven where she said she refused to have sperm in her mouth.
I can remember the very first Private films I watched where I was amazed to see nearly every scene had a good looking woman getting a mouthful or faceful. They seemed to be the first company to have this as standard practice for the cum shot. Am I right?
Does anyone else have any more for the list of American films?
What was the best cum in the mouth shot you have ever seen?
Who do you think was the best cock sucker and sperm swallower in the business?

One of the amazing cumshot ever seen by me was performed by this beatiful girl.

Yes, on the belly (or worse, on the back: WTF???) cum shots always seem like a "waste". But I don't think mouth shots or facials were all that rare in the old days: in most Vanessa Del Rio films or Jesie St. James films (like in Easy, for instance), they took a shot to the mouth. So did Aunt Peg, quite often.
A really GREAT mouth shot is in "Girl's Best Friend": Veronica Hart takes a healthy pop in the mouth from Ron Jeremy, then looks him right in the eyes, and... swallows! Wonderful stuff.

I love Veronica Hart - I only have part of 'Delicious'. That scene sounds like one I need for my collection.

I will look out for 'Easy' too. The only thing I had with Jessie St James in it was Filthy Rich and I don't think she took much in the mouth in that so I had never counted her. She is gorgeous though.
The picture sounds good too.

I believe Kay Parker in the first of the Taboo series took a facial from Mike Ranger.....correct me if I'm wrong.

Interesting topic Ludwig. Certainly I agree that there may be more emphasis on the facial nowadays however I don’t think they were such a rarity in the 80’s. The belly and back plop shots were more a predominant part of the 70’s. Some memorable 80’s shots as I recall are as follows.

Any Dark Bros film,
i.e. Lois Ayers in Devil in Miss Jones 3. Erica Boyer in Deep Inside Vanessa Del Rio. Lady Shephanie in Black Throat.

Anything with Vanessa Del Rio

Seka also had exceptional facial scenes one that springs to mind is Inside Seka (I Think!)

Quite often the question of “What is the best facial” is asked on various forums and boards and Samantha Strong and Peter North in “Kasha and Friends” is considered to be a worthy contender. Which I have seen and while it remains credible another Samantha Strong scene from “Only the Strong Survive” I consider to be just as good.

There are probably a lot more but these are ones which immediately spring to mind.

As with a lot of things time may have destroyed or even exaggerated realities so my recollections may be inaccurate and open to criticism but I hope this has helped you with your question.

One should compare the S8 version (CCC 1447). It's plausible.* As a matter of fact, i have seen many scenes in the CC mags that are not included in the compilation tape loops. I can't imagine they're not present on the master reels..
