Holocaust:True Or False ?
 

Okay I have run this thread by the mods and they said it is okay as long as the posters don't get out of hand. Then the entire thread could be removed. So any one who posts here please keep that in mind.
The reason I started this is because as I was doing laundry I ran into two people with Holocaust experience. One was a little old lady who survived Auschwitz. She is still fit and active and is pretty cool. The other person is the owner. We got to talking and it turns out his uncle built the ovens there. They even have the uncles stamp on them. The uncle did not want to build them but as it is known the Nazi's only answer no's with drastic measures.
What are the odds of running in to two people like that at the same place?
So yes I definitely believe that the Holocaust happened. There remains overwhelming evidence that it did so I don't understand those who say it didn't.

The GI's who liberated the camps were certainly convinced. That and the horrific movie/photo evidence, mass graves, emaciated prisoners, gruesome collections of gold teeth, hair... and the ovens, ought to be enough to convince anyone. Those on trial at the time did not so much deny as whine they were "...only following orders."
A former girl friend wrote one of the books on the rescuers, ordinary people from many nations who risked their own lives to help Jews escape.
This is a link to an article from the German Publication "Der Spiegel" about Adolph Eichmann's life in Argentina before the Nazi hunters caught up with him. Apparently, when he was in his cups he would brag about what he had done... regretting nothing but that they hadn't killed them all.

"Holocaust Deniers" only deny it because They can't justify it.All these Nazi apologists and anti-semites deny it in public but no doubt gloat about it in private.

My father is a retired builder and we once built a house for a man who was interred in one of the camps. He had a serial number tattooed on his forearm. At the time I was too young to engage the man in any meaningful conversation but I would sure like to now.

It is sickening that certain people do not believe these atrocities happened,
probably the same people who believe we never went to the moon.

Yes. It is not well enough known that this crime is exhaustively documented – and by the perpetrators. It simply wasn't just an industrialised strategy of killing. (Hitler read two books when he was imprisoned after the 1923 putsch, one written by that well known Anti-Semite, Henry Ford, inventor of the production line.) It was also a large bureaucracy of form filling, pen pushers and railway timetable experts. Most of this documentation survives. The people responsible who were captured and tried post war, were, if anything, rather proud of their meeting the exacting targets set by the Nazi leadership.

Well cic I put that in because there are deniers. If a denier wants to post responsibly I would be interested in why.

What a question :eek: of course those concentration camps have exist. At first installed that the Nazis could get rid off their political opportunists as Communists and Socialists and a few active members of other parties (known as "gleichschaltung" [=coordination]), then added successively with Jews of all social classes.

So the deniers of the Holocaust are simply liars.
