Private Messages

Once it was possible to check "Messages" in the upper right corner of your Inbox to also check the following PMs automatically (see arrow on the screenshot below):

This function doesn't work for me anymore (as well as in Sent Items). Can anybody help or advise me?

It seems that a time-consuming option is lost. :mad:

I just tried it and it works fine for me.. :confused: I suspect AdBlockPlus is blocking a script you need. I switched to uBlockOrigin quite a while ago to avoid the constant hassles with ABP and have had no issues since.

The following two scripts from VEF are blocked by Adblock Plus here:

Allowing the second one restores the missing functionality. :thumbsup:

VEF has slowed down for me remarkably at the moment. It might have been caused in some threads only, because some ImageBam thumbs seem to be dead currently, and my browser is waiting to get them anyway (e.g. "connected with thumbnails117.imagebam.com", endlessly). More info about "thumbnails117" here.

Update: It seems that thumbnails112 is affected as well.

Forum is useless lately; with pages taking over 10 minutes to load their contents...

Don't know what it is, but VE doesn't load correctly for me anymore.
Pages take 2-3 minutes to load when before it was 2-3 seconds.
If I have multiple windows open, it takes forever.
It can't be the image hosts, as it happens with different ones; but when one page loads, the others follow suit in a matter of seconds.
This has been happening for a few weeks now.
And it only happens here...

I just attempted to start a new thread in general discussion. The topic was something like "Movie ID Help Needed". I edited it twice I think. It's possible I accidentally deleted it. If a mod deleted it or moved it, please let me know. I don't see it anywhere. I'm just curious about what may have happened, it's probably something I did while editing. It had no links, just text.

Movie requests need to be posted in the correct section. Posting them in the wrong section will likely result them in being removed. Please post in the classic or modern request sections to prevent this from happening :)

I still would like to urge forum staff or members being in touch with ImageBam to ask them enabling to maintain uploaded original file names again (instead of e.g. 26f7fc614589743.jpg) :rolleyes:
