Hello , Good evening & I seem to have made some mistake ...

Oh jeez , I am embarrassed - there seem to be 'stars of past & present' singing their asses off in the name of the Queens' glory

Love her as I do ... http://ist1-3.filesor.com/pimpandhos...0%26%20bow.gif

This is nothing but propping-up careers of the 'has beens' & should know betters ..
But what a load of old crap !!!

any ideas or thoughts VEF members ?

I'm hoping 'Madness' & 'Kylie' save the day (god bless you Australia :thumbsup:)

other than that.., i think we will fall flat & well short of the required mark:o

I apologize on the UKs' behalf for this tripe :(

I've been looking forward to this for ages.

Queen in concert, this will bring back memories.

Hang on, bollocks

Mad Koala Bear June 4th, 2012 08:07 PM

The Sex Pistols' 'God Save the Queen', number 2 in the charts 35 years ago; now a load of superannuated has-beens queue up to perform for the establishment. Sigh.

Well I would hardly call Renee Fleming, Alfie Boe and Lang Lang has-beens, they aren't all old but remember the Queen doesn't like a lot of modern stuff so it has be a mix of old(Cliff, Elephant John and Shirley B) and new(JLS, Ed Sheeran etc) and frankly I think it has been great so far-apart from Robbie Williams murdering Mack the Knife(not that I like that song anyway) but the most cringeworthy so far have to be the comedians linking the singers apart from Lenny Henry. I also look forward to Madness too.

Still it was probably better than the Eurovision, not watched either so I'm probably the last person to comment.

Never stopped me before :D
