Here is a clip of PP dancing on TOTP to the original version of Gilbert o'Sullivan's 1973 hit 'Get Down'. There is already a post on this thread by 'GivemeRetro' at #177 featuring this with the sampled version by 'Malibu Sneakers', that's a YouTube link. And at post #14 'XA~TIVA' reckons that Babs lets a nip slip out during this routine but darned if I can spot it, not on the resolution of my clip anyway! Shame that dog #5 decided to walk off set just after the start of the number!

This would appear to be the Babs Lord solo clip which 'XA~TIVA' is referring to at #101. Here she is performing in 1973 to the late John Denver's 'Barbara Allen' on his own BBC show.

I reckon this is the clip 'XA~TIVA' is referring to; this is PP dancing to the 1973 hit (re-released then; 1962 original) 'Monster Mash' by Bobby 'Boris' Pickett and The Crypt Kicker Five. You can see PP's TOTP studio version of this at #159, courtesy of 'george anson' but this is the rarer video version where they wear the more revealing outfits. The clip ends a bit suddenly because I have edited out Tony Blackburn's voice-over link into what was the next track.

Pan's People - Everybody Clap / Lulu
 

Here are PP on TOTP in 1971 (the fashion year for 'hot pants') supporting a live performance of 'Everybody Clap' by the diminutive Glaswegian with the powerful voice Marie Lawrie aka Lulu. Live tracks were rare in those days on TOTP - most performers mimed. Note her then-husband on acoustic guitar in the background, that's the late 'Bee Gee' Maurice Gibb.

Firstly thanks to everyone who has posted clips and pics on this thread its brought back a lot of happy memories.

Mention has been made on this thread of programs the PP guested on. I don't think anyone has mentioned "The Jack Jones Show" TX'd Jan-Feb 74, in which PP performed a routine each week. As these dance routines were filmed rather than live as in TOTPs, the costumes where a lot skimpier.

I fact some of the routines from this series were used in "Pans People in Concert" which was TX'd in Apr 74.
