In RE: RG/Rapidgator files
More than a few have stated that rapidgator files aren't working.
Please report dead links/dupes/problem posts here: http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/t17...rt-thread.html Here's probably the best method to download rapidgator links: Make sure you have Jdownloader2 open and running. 1. Click the link for rapid gator; 2. Copy the URL (paste it into the linkgrabber of Jdownloader2 if necessary; 3. Do the same thing with remaining link(s); 4. After all links are in the linkgrabber, click the "start all" button in the bottom right or the play button on top left: 5. If folks are having problems with the link they might try taking off everything after the long number and trying in another browser. Sometimes I can't get the link to work in Chrome, but taking off everything after the big number and pasting it into Firefox worked for me. In Chrome it didn't send you thru to the captcha box. Have had this issue before with rapidgator, but it comes and goes.

Correct Bungee. I use firefox with script blocker, which may hold things up, and
prevent the captcha appearing. Some links have an invisible referrer, so the workaround is this. Rather than click on the link, just, right click, then copy and paste it into the address box. It may look something like this: http://rapidgator.net/file/6bb787dec59a95ef61b8203c4f029c71/vintage_XXXX.avi.html?referer=http://www.$$$$$$.com/topic305114-1920.html Simply remove everything after the first HTML so it looks like this: http://rapidgator.net/file/6bb787dec..._XXXX.avi.html And hit enter, seems to work reliably for me anyway. |
Rapidgator problem
I can't get Rapidgator to work. I can click on the download link, wait for the 180 second countdown, then type in the verification code, and nothing. It goes back to the download start page. I can go through the process a dozen times and get the same result everytime. I've used Firefox and Chrome and it doesn't make a difference. Any ideas?

Try using a download manager i've registered with a lot of filehosts as i found this occasionally made a difference in busy times When a file is first posted i usually wait till its off the first few pages before even trying manually Alas there is a practice on many forums of posters continually bumping threads to the top page to try and maximise exposure so more free users potentially will upgrade to premium No guarantees when your a free downloader that the server any file is on wont be at full capacity Slow or inaccessible hosts are nothing new - just supply and demand in play Frustratingly slow hosts http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/t30...low-hosts.html Filehost Advice & Solutions http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho...light=filehost |
I've had this similar problem with Rapidgator since March.
TBH it makes no difference whether they're busy or not & customer service are less help than buttsie :o I gave up on them & don't bother touching an RG link as I know it's gonna be a waste of time |
Took me 5 links to find an RG one that was not file not found

For me :o occasionally , but rarely, I get the countdown & the next page can either show (or not) the captcha.
If that is entered correctly the next page is Rapidgators Home page :confused: Disabled chrome ad-ons/extensions (adblock, etc) even smooth scroll ! I mean disabled All extensions. Different browsers.. all to no avail They honestly appear to be making life difficult & 'support' say it must be my cache :rolleyes: I cleared that too, numerous times :mad: Looking thru my emails & I now recall I opened a free account 1st Jan 2015 by the 16th December I was removing/deleting my files out of frustration @ not being able to access them. Something changed in early December 2015, previous to that if I deleted RG cookies Everytime I could get a fair chance of a download , since then it's been impossible for me. In December I asked support why their cookies appear to be blocking my IP? Quote:

I've done pretty much the same things. I've used two different browsers, disable all the ad blockers and so on, nothing. I even tried the browsers in private mode just to see if it would work. I have two different ISPs...DSL and a wifi hot spot. Tried both. That didn't make a difference. I tried creating a free account, that didn't work. The only thing left I can think of is to start a paying account. But I'm afraid I'll pay, and it will still not work, which means I'm wasting money. |
Rapid fails with me also, if a file i want is on rapid, i just do a search via bing, sometimes i get lucky.
