I don't live in Siberia, but here we also have wolves, bears, mosquites the size of bees, mud, and about three to four feet of snow in the winter, which lasts for about 6 months!, and in February we had -34c! Does that count.
Oh, yes and only this morning I had an adder about three feet from my foot, just outside my open front door!

Saw a program about spiders, just yesterday.
About the "Red Back" venomous spider. They seem to be a pest in Australia..
Redbacks are considered one of the most dangerous spiders in Australia.
The Redback spider has a neurotoxic venom which is toxic to humans with bites causing severe pain.
