p&h has a major issue: the access to it is blocked by several countries.
So some users can't see the images, except using a proxy or VPN.
And the other main hosts aren't that bad either.

Some of my pixhost uploads now show as "image temporarily unavailable". Has this message in the past shown true, and images on pixhost have become alive again, or do I need to assume that they have joined the Norwegian Blue amongst the dead things of this world?

Its only been 3/4 days since I started seeing unavailable - i'd give it a few weeks
Past history says you can add a 2nd host and end up with 2 when the 1st recovers

Its most likely a server down as from 25 posts tested of my own i have 19 available 6 not

The down appear to be in February / March 2018
- lets pray it isnt another imagebam server 101 disaster unfolding

Yes, it does appear that PixHost is experiencing server issues. The affected dates seem to be Feb 8, 2018 to Mar 19, 2018 and Aug 5, 2018 to Aug 30, 2018. There may be more, but that's what we're seeing so far. In General Modern Topics, Modern Models, and Modern Production Studios, we won't start removing dead PixHost posts for at least two weeks. You can re-up at any time, but you've got a little while to see if the problem resolves itself. If you decide to replace the dead thumbs, please add "re-up" or something similar in the edit box. :thumbsup:

On a side note, Turbo Image Host has been tweaking its user interface and has now added a gallery option. For some reason they only allow gallery names of between 2 and 20 characters, though. :confused:

Before everyone goes into a panic and frenzy and start scrambling to re-up posts/images, do you know if this issue is something that Pixhost can or is working to rectify and something that will eventually be fixed?

I have quite a few posts using the pixhost service which are affected as described. I have found one fix which seems to be working, but only if you have added a gallery link. If you click the gallery link, then go to the bottom and copy the forum html links, these still seem to work. If you edit your post to re-insert these links, it all seems to work. I don't remember if I uploaded things twice in the original post (i.e. once for the thumbnails and then separately for the gallery), but it might be worth a bit of experimentation for your posts if you are affected.
