1fichier

Just wondering if anyone else is having problems with 1fichier?

After using 1fichier for a while - without difficulties, things seemed to go wrong yesterday for no obvious reason. When I tried opening links, I got a blank page and then found that I couldn't access the site via Google.

Today, I can get on for about a second before the pages goes white and I get a small box telling me that the page cannot be displayed and I should update my Adobe flash player, even though it is up to date!

Any suggestions?

Test It - has trouble shooting instructions for browsers firefox, chrome and even IE
as well as how to flush out your DNS cache for windows / linux & macs

Thanks for the link Buttsie. An interesting and possibly useful site. Seems to be my problem with 1fischier and I'll have to see if I can track down the problem

buttsie November 28th, 2013 01:01 AM

I get the full the page with no pop-up and thats even before telling no script to allow 1fichier

The adobe pop-up could mean its malware of some kind interfering with the page
to get you to click on the pop-up

Esets online scanner a decent option for a 2nd opinion scan

http://www.eset.com/au/home/products/online-scanner/

If its some sort of subtle browser hijacker which does occasionally occur

The junkware removal tool (simply removes everything it finds)
or adw cleaner (option to select what you wish removed) good ones to
remove unwanted crapware like toolbars / smart bars / PUPs

I'm running the Eset scanner as I'm writing this. Thanks again for the help Buttsie, much appreciated. Yes, I'm always very wary of nearly all pop-up boxes and usually shut the browser down at that point using Task Manager.

Last night, I cleared out most of my temporary files with CCleaner and ran an AV scan. This didn't seem to make any difference or show anything. However, about five minutes ago, I was able to open a 1fichier page with no problems.

If nothing turns up from the Eset scan, I'll just have to hope that the problem's over. This won't be first time that something irritating has cropped up, which has simply gone away. Finger's crossed.

What does the "suppress link" do? It appears to the right of the download link after your upload is finished.

Suppress Link

I've never seen this myself, but you don't give any info on your system.

I did have a quick look on Microsoft's Technet site and the only thing I could find was rather a baffling description of - Suppress Link State Updates.

You might find it worth having a look at this, but I think you'd do best posting a question on one of the technical forums.

Hope this helps :-)

I think it allows you to decide who is able to download it, IE you can nominate only certain people to access it

buttsie's link to "is it down"....

I hope so itīs just temporarly, as the host has offered incredible speeds in the past. To good to be true. Fingers crossed that it will be back online soon. Especially because RS is not to be considered as a preferred host at VEF anymore. I donīt want to move files again and again ...

lagerlout December 31st, 2013 08:19 AM

Haven't been able to get in for about 3 hours now myself , the link I put up earlier not working at the moment either

QWS December 31st, 2013 02:54 PM

Now working.

lagerlout January 3rd, 2014 10:59 AM

They're back down again

exfarmer January 3rd, 2014 11:35 AM

The page just loaded for me so must have been a temporary thing. Which is a relief because I'd just renewed a subscription.

The Count January 3rd, 2014 07:36 PM

Any idea why I get "file not found" messages when trying to download files from their site? I click the download link in the bottom left hand corner and it loads up a page with the "file not found" message. The files are recent uploads usually posted by qws with no reports from other members that the links don't work, so I assume it's a problem on my end. Then other files from them I click on the link and it begins the download like it should. I'm using a Mac if that makes any difference.

Blue126 January 7th, 2014 12:50 AM

I have no problems today..touch wood.

I believe we must VEF be the site that is causing overload of their server's, because here and our sister site seem to be the only place on the world web site that is using them.

Or is it just me whom can not find links else where using 1fichier?

Elvis16/03/14 January 27th, 2014 07:04 PM

2 failed uploads after >400mb transfer = peed off.

exfarmer January 27th, 2014 07:48 PM

I made 2 uploads too them this afternoon, one was two files and the other was one file. All were around 50mb each and both times it went through the upload progress as normal but at the end I got a connection error message. But then when I checked my files all three were there and working.

That's not working for larger files unfortunately :(

I suppose i will split larger files into more failure tolerant sizes, to limit upload wastage, when upload is approx 120kb/s.

kogi January 31st, 2014 04:41 PM

Seems to be working now. Doing some heavy FTP upload and have uploaded almost 2 TB the last week. Some files 8-10GB in size.

buttsie January 31st, 2014 07:05 PM

A few changes seem to have taken place since i last downloaded from them

A revamped model curbing free user downloads via

5 minute wait between downloads

Download speed - unlimited speed only during this 6 hour period : 2h - 8h CEST

Free user versus premium compared

lagerlout February 3rd, 2014 03:55 AM

looks like they're down bigtime @ the moment

onajeeb February 3rd, 2014 07:35 AM

There back online now, was able to download normally.

lagerlout February 4th, 2014 10:38 AM

Well that didn't last too long, 3 attempts to upload a movie, all dropped out
Damn It !!!

Elvis16/03/14 February 4th, 2014 01:44 PM

Cannot log in to site.

melvin February 4th, 2014 04:21 PM

Never had any issues with uploading so far. Maybe itīs a regional problem.
Iīm using Neembuu Uploader.

exfarmer February 4th, 2014 04:41 PM

The login button appears to be broken but click on "remote upload on your panel" and you can log in normally.

Jenny48549 February 4th, 2014 07:42 PM

I just logged in the normal way. I found out sometime ago that they have a habit of disabling login and uploading every so often without notice for maintenance.

kogi February 5th, 2014 11:04 AM

Can't log in via the front panel but I'm still able to ftp upload to my account. So they are not gone. Probably maintenance as her Majesty indicates over.

bigbobnobody February 9th, 2014 07:28 PM

Does this maintenance stuff have anything to do with the 26 kbs
dl speed I'm getting at the moment? Been a while since I dl'ed a
1f link, but sure don't recall it being that slow. Sure hope that's all
it is.

lagerlout February 9th, 2014 09:52 PM

No, the uploader needs to have Java installed to work as it is a Java based program.

lagerlout February 14th, 2014 03:33 AM

I haven't been able to get a file up to here in the last 24 hours .... they keep dropping out and failing... just me ? or is anyone else having the same problem ?

winebeavis February 16th, 2014 08:12 PM

Been having the same problem for the last week or so. It frequently times out when uploading. No issues when downloading.

Oswald February 18th, 2014 01:47 PM

I registered today as a free user and straight away encountered a problem. As I was attempting to upload a movie rar file I received an error message. :(

Jenny48549 February 18th, 2014 02:32 PM

I've been using the uploader they recommend and I haven't encountered any issues. Sound like the web page upload has problems.

lds17pl February 18th, 2014 02:39 PM

Confirm same ul troubles last week.

Today uploaded 2 test files (1 was RAR) at web page without troubles.

lagerlout February 25th, 2014 07:36 AM

Anyone having trouble at the moment ?
Seems to gone to the sending message and just hung
Been like that for most of the day here
Usually get it showing me how much is uploaded or a message saying " file still been sent page won't be uploaded " or close too
