A few days ago I got a similar message while trying to download from K2S (using JDownloader).

I did two things, so I'm not sure which "fixed" the problem (if either). The old "turn it off and re-start" fix. That takes a long time (for my PC) with JDownloader. Or removing the last P2S download file from the JDownloader download folder.

Haven't had a repeat since then. It wouldn't surprise me if these "problems" were a result of file sharing sites trying to block JDownloader and JDownloader applying a work around.

It's my understanding that this "battle" has been going on for quite sometime. I image it's about the user seeing or not seeing the advertisements on the file sharing site and/or downloading for free.

Most of this stuff comes down to money.

Now I'm getting this message "Warning ! Without premium status, you can download only one file at a time" I 'll just keep trying and hope it sorts out again!!

Hasn't it always been like that?

I've only been allowed one download link at a time for as long as I can remember.

Don't be confused. Of course you get this message as free user trying to dl additional file while current dl. ;)

I think the "problem" was (or is) that the free user wasn't trying to do an additional dl, the user was trying to initiate a dl.

At least that was the case when it happened to me.

I reiterate, it seems that these problems are attempts by file sharing sites to force you into using their downloader thus displaying a lot of advertisements or to buy their services, both having to do with the sites income.

It's been my experience that they are not confined to 1fichier and they seem to come and go in various forms and over the weeks and months persistence/patience (many re-starts) has been my only solution.

I'm not complaining. After all, I'm a free user. Gift horse in the mouth and all those other axioms.

Sorry, I should have made myself more clear!;)
As you say though, I'm not complaining either, I just wondered if there was a fix.

FWIW, this is the error I've been getting from 1Fichier in Chrome for the past few days:

Duplicate headers received from server
The response from the server contained duplicate headers. This problem is generally the result of a misconfigured website or proxy. Only the website or proxy administrator can fix this issue.

Again, FWIW, right now I just completed a download from 1fichier, no problems, using JDownloader and started another DL from FileFactory. During these DLs I also was DLing from K2S.

Had two DLs going (from different sites) which is "normal" for JDownloader.

Apparently the latest update in Chrome is causing all sorts of issues for users as a lot of different sites.

If I were you, I would try using a different browser until Chrome gets it's act together.

I wondered if it was a Chrome issue, thanks. I was taking it as a sign that I had enough porn. :-D
