The 13th Doctor

So, after much speculation is has been announced that Jodie Whittaker has been confirmed as the latest incarnation of The Doctor.

In the UK a lot of people will either identify with a certain crew from the childrens show, Blue Peter (Mine was John Noakes, Peter Purvis and Valerie Singleton) or a certain Time lord (Mine was Jon Pertwee/Tom Baker)

I can't say I watch much Doctor Who now but still enjoy the odd episode I catch'

So, the question is, who is your favourite Doctor, I shan't include the war Doctor, played by John Hurt, or obviously the newest version, but the other 12 are looking for your votes and opinions. :)

Sam you left out a possible vote on your poll. Don't fucking care.;)

Tom Baker and Peter Davison were mine. That bloke from the BT ads and Murder In Paradise should have been the next one. Wasn't their a time lords rule that 13 doctors was the maximum regeneration limit ?

I'm so old I remember the first episode! :( Oh for a real time machine and the ability to regenerate. Just regenerating my hair would be a good start. :D

Anyway, I digress.

I've seen them all but Tom Baker was my favourite (and Tegan my favourite companion for obvious reasons - she was gorgeous! :)

Patrick Troughton was my first Doctor, Tom Baker in second place.

I think the new reboot will be the end of it. I can't see many fans liking the BBC throwing out everything they've come to understand about the Doctor and how regeneration works.

I'm sure that the PC brigade and feminists will be delighted but they probably don't watch it anyway. Are they now going to have to find some bloke to go screaming down corridors or are they going for a female companion and a lesbian (sorry, gay) relationship?

Bye bye Doctor Who. :p

I'm only surprised she wasn't wearing a turbine and didn't have a beard .
And wasn't all kinds of minority rolled into one .

The plug should be pulled on the BBC .
Let's see how popular political correctness is when it has to fund itself .

I don't think you'll be seeing any tits on Doctor Who, but she's prettier than the previous 12.
