Why do you like vintage?
 

Well i like vintage, since it is more "real", or what you should call it.
That "real" feeling is the really old vintage, the stuff from the beginning 1800 (and i do mean the 1800)

It also has a feeling of "haha,we are having sex", or you could say that it has the feeling of being not so serious.
They have sex because it is a fun thing to do. How here dosen't laugh a bit when they watch a 1970-1980 german porn?
I thing the way the talk, and that sometimes the moaning are just to much.

I also love the colour of vintage img and films. It is not natural colours, but the colour of skin is almoste orange, you know what i maen?
All the colours are sharp and bright. I love that with vintage img.

It isn't one thing, it's the sum of all the good things about "vintage" porn.

I think everyone is likely to say more or less the same thing: it isn't fake. No shaved muffs (I personally can barely stand to look at modern porn, and shaved muffs are the one thing I hate most about it.) No breast implants (breast implants are my second biggest hate). The people look real, they look like they're enjoying it a lot more (given the swing back to repressive Victorian-era "morality" in the last couple of decades, I'm sure they WERE enjoying it more.)

Modern porn is often very misogynistic, it seems to be much more interested in degrading the women than showing both sexes having a good time. I believe that older porn has a more amatuer feel to it, which makes it sexier - I'd rather see people having a good time than see someone grinding out the same performance for the thousandth time...

By the way, hi, lurker here, first post. I am on dial-up, so I have little I could share and I can't download a huge amount either - but a massive thanks to the folks that can and do share with us folks who lack the bandwidth.

I agree with the natural part but there is much more. The industry was full of pioneers. Everyone was sticking their necks out and a lot of it was a passion for the product on a shoestring budget. I love the hunt for the lost footage from the "art theatres" and loops, a lot of which got censored on the way to video tape or disappeared. Fortunately the internet and great forums like this have brought much of it back like the fisting in Candy Stripers or Ginger Lynn fisting Amber Lynn on the set of Graffenberg Spot. But there's still a lot out there and damn, those 70's chicks were my contemporaries! I lived some of that stuff, qualudes and wesson oil parties. Nothing like a bit of familiarity to breed eroticism. I just can't relate to hard bodies with a ton of ink and hardware spending the morning at the gym then appearing in three vids a day in three different LA office parks.

I would say that I like vintage because the actors and actresses look like real, average people for the most part. Their bodies have flaws and so forth.
