Does anyone remember the Collinson twins - Mary and Madeleine - who appeared in one or two British films at the beginning of the 70s? The one that they were best known for was Twins of Evil, a Hammer horror from 1971. They are two orphan girls who go to stay with their uncle, who is a puritan witchhunter in a small German town. I think that it is set at the beginning of the 19th century (although there werte of course no witchhunts at that period). In fact only one of the sisters is evil, the other is good. The evil one consorts with a sinister nobleman who lives in a castle above the town, and she gets turned into a vampire. As is usual in Gothic horror films, the girls spend most of the time sitting around in their nighties; and very nice they look in them too.

They don't come any rarer than these two: the first is definitely genuine the second is 95% genuine but do not currently have the accredited source (It may be a still from a "continental" cut of the HM "Halfway Inn" film. What do you think guys?

Here are the pictures of the Collinsons in Halfway Inn, these are from a magazine called “Impact 70”, published by Harrison Marks, presumably in 1970. The magazine is basically made up of stills from his 8mm films republished as “romantic photo stories”. The titles of the stories in the magazine aren’t the original 8mm film titles, Halfway Inn pictures appear in a story called “Double Exposure”, while stills from the Marks 8mm film “The Amorous Masseur” feature in a story called “Massage- Erotique” and stills from the Sue Bond film “First You See It” appears in a story called “2 Into a Bath Will Go”.
