Lynn Shaw Content thread

Have thought her and Jacqueline Jones were uncanny look-a likes, if not cousins. Then ran across a post on another board regarding Il Grido (1957) and Pit of Darkness (1961) stating:

"had noticed a striking brunette in the fascinating IL GRIDO - and learned thru stubborn internet research that she was maybe English - and she might have been a stripper at one point - so i figured that she may have made only the handful of Italian films in her filmography under the name "Lynn Shaw" - then a few days ago - someone responded to my review at Amazon UK - saying she used the name "Jacqueline Jones" for her British work - and appeared in PIT OF DARKNESS among other things"


04-19-2019 UPDATE: IMDB has merged Lynn Shaw and Jacqueline Jone's credits, so it does appear they are the same person.

Some confirmation...

In a 1958 66 spread, it's stated "Lyn's currently in Rome..."

And in a 1961 Spick feature, that Jacqueline has "returned from a 5-year sojourn in Italy..."

In Steve Sullivan's book "Glamour Girls, The Illustrated Encyclopedia" Lynn Shaw's entry confirms her being in "more than a dozen Italian films" including The Cry which is aka Il Grido.
