sad news,I haven't checked the site in quite a while but it was one of the first sites that I ever discovered when I first starting going online,to anybody who knew him personally and visits this forum then I hope that you can pass on all of our condolences.A great man,he'll be sorely missed.

Just read this sad news over on BGAFD a few minutes ago. Very sad. RIP Robb.

like everyone else his was the first site i really got into when i started collecting celb pix. my mate brumbob who left for spain and lost contact used to chat to him regular, sending him scans and pix or helping out with pitters old site which robb also helped with. i knew he had been ill a few years back, he wasnt young from what i could glean, but its a terrible shame how things go. we lost desperado last year too, and his site has just never been any good since, not surprising really, but now we've lost another. it usually comes in threes, so who's gonna be next i wonder??? (bet the older forum members here are quaking in their boots''''lol) ;)

like all....... RIP Robb Douglass!!! :(

i started the thread and i have no objections ing. think its the least we can do to thank him for all the time and effort he expended in bringing us his site which was updated twice at week at its prime. have to say it went soft towards the end but considering the man was ill you cant really critisize him can you. :)

cant believe no one has any contact or info on my m8 'Brumbob' tho, he was a mad fanatic collecter, and i thought he might be on here, which is in part why i left this thread knowing he'd recognise me, or at least the name which is down to him in the first place.

Sorry for yet another 'me too' post, but Robb's site was/is a wonderful resource which will be sadly missed if this is, indeed, the end of it.. I must agree, however, that the wording was rather odd and like him wonder if there is more to the story than might at first meet the eye.

like many of us here I knew and loved Robb's site and all the incredible work he put in creating a wonderful site. I think we all now how much work was involved in developing and keeping such a site going.

As to the wording of the news, I think it can be put down to bravery in the face of adversity. If you've got to go go with a joke. I for one salute this approach.

My thoughts are with his family and friends in this horrible time. I can only say that his work was appreciated.

Thanks Robb, we'll miss you
