Birte Tove is now 67 years old, and down to earth when visiting her in the idyllic allotment in Vedbaek. Here she lives in summer, ten minutes away from the two-bedroom in Holte. Always with the red planning book at her side. She is matron of a buy and sell market, which she started eight years ago when her back could not handle the job as a nurse anymore.

With fresh strawberries in the bowl, homemade muffins, cheese and a cup of coffee, it is not to see or hear that you are sitting opposite a once famous (naked-) model, actress, singer and female beauty.

Unfortunately, her health are failing, and Birte is currently confined to a wheelchair. But she is in good spirits and still smiling:)
