Loretta Swit or not?
 

Found this somewhere years ago which purports to be Loretta. What do you think?

Facial resemblance, but it's very unlikely IMHO

Seen that image a few years back; not heard much discussion, but also none that called it out as a fake.... Certainly didn't see it on the Fake Detective site at least...?

Not too much of a stretch to believe it's genuine, imho.

Swit was born in New Jersey in late 1937 and graduated from a Catholic high school in 1955. (The family was Polish, she was born Loretta Jane Szwed.)
This picture is clearly of a naturist in her early 20s (or younger) and cropped from a larger photo.
1.) Chances of Swit ever having been in an American nudist colony, given her background ... just about nil.

2.) Obviously this shot's in color, and looks to me to be a Kodachrome. My guess is it was taken 1970s or early '80s (check out the hair style), rather than late '50s when Swit would have been the correct age.

[Nevertheless, the little blonde in the shot is certainly cute, even if she's not famous.]

I've seen this picture labeled as Loretta Switt, Doris Day, Elke Sommer, and half a dozen other blonds. She's been around for at least three decades, long before the internet was even a dream. I think she is from one of the old 70's nudist magazines, but I'm not real positive about that
