I'd seen that thread already - it's where I got some of the info from. But everything helps!

I was kind of hoping people might be able to ID some things she'd done, so we could maybe get a tentative ID. The problem with the clips I found is that without the larger movies there isn't any way to even get a 'scene 3 = Jane' kind of ID.

I have seen this girl in the dvd 9 Eurocopines Font leur Cinéma by Philippe Soine.
She appears 20s nude on the bed getting interviewed by Robert Rosenberg I guess.
She say his name is Joana.
The scene is at least a part of her casting for the movie Titten Inspektion.

Well I think I found his real name Jolana ***** . Listed at sugarvod so I guess is no problem to put it here.
Not very usefull by now to find other videos but we will see if it helps.

Searching under that name brings up some kind of IT company with an employee that has the same name - and it's her (clearly more recent).

Not sure if she would want to be known by that name as she's clearly moved on from adult material.

I know that we here at VEF are an assiduously respectful lot, always remembering that the girls that strip for the lens are deserving of our eternal respect and gratitude, but it really disturbs me to think that a former model's real name is on the record.

Ultimately, there are so many vile misogynists out there who are naturally drawn to p*rn, and I've seen a little of bit of what they can do when a young woman - who was obviously just trying get by financially for a short period in her late teen/early 20's - true identity becomes known...

We weren't doing anything but trying to find an ID - whether a real name or a pseudonym - with which to identify her and her works. That is the entire point of this thread. Why are you on this thread / forum if you have an issue with this?

Why does that disturb you? A lot of models don't use an alias and those that do very often wind up being identified by their real names eventually. It's not something that can stay hidden as real people know the models and can identify their real names. The 'Jane Doe' thing doesn't work when hundreds and hundreds of people will know their real name, and it only takes one to say, "Hey, I went to school with her, her name is..." to let the cat out of the bag. In this case, her real name is on an adult site, so she must have used it when shooting. This won't be a shock to her.

Almost all men look at porn. All men are natually drawn to porn. Very very few men are 'vile misogynists' (misogyny not emotive enough?), and those that are will not be drawn to porn because they are vile misogynists but regardless of whether they are. Also, whatever her reasons for doing adult films (and we cannot know them, despite you using a 'desperation' version), in the age of the internet nothing gets forgotten, and she would know this. She might be totally fine with her past work, she may even be proud of it - we don't know. It doesn't really matter, we aren't doing anything but trying to find an ID with which to identify her work. It's out there, and trying to pretend it isn't won't work - never does.

But either way, her surname has been removed from above. So I guess she can just be known as Jolana.

Although MIR is interested in finding model ids (professional names), it's not interested in finding models' real (private) names where those are not already used by them in their professional capacity. That's part of the basic site rules:

That's also why MIR doesn't want to id non-professional (amateur) models--e.g. who try to hide their faces, etc. As distinct from those who clearly show their faces but are simply labelled as "amateurs", seemingly as part of their appeal/sales pitch.

Which was in response to her ID found on Sugarvod being the same name she could be found by in her non-porn modern profession. I was suggesting it so the mods that close the searches wouldn't use it accidentally.

I didn't actually disagree with most of what Nightjar said. I just found it odd the way he said it, epecially in a sub-forum in which the exact same thing could be said about 20% of all the ID requests that come through here. All the stuff about 'vile misogyny' and 'it really disturbs me to think that a former model's real name is on the record' (as if that's unusual) just struck me as bizarre and unneccessary. I agree that we walk a fine line in this forum between cataloguing and ID'ing for reference and linking purposes, and potentially naming someone who wouldn't want to be named. But I think this thread was actually on the right side of it which is why I said what I said above, and why I reacted to Nightjar's post.

Here's how I would have responded had I been responding to someone elses thread:

"Since that seems to be her real name and she seems to have moved on from her adult days, for the sake of her privacy we might be better off using only her first name and possibly surname inital as an ID and leaving it at that."

Kind of says the same thing without the 'Oh God, please, let's all just leave her alone' - as if we're a lynch mob trying to wreck her life, something none of us would want to do to women who want to leave the industry behind.

Anyway, I think this discussion has been valuable regardless.
