vintage (early XXc) nude postcards catalog
 

Stamp collectors have them, coin collectors have them... is there a catalog of those really old "risque" postcards/photos? I mean those from the turn of the XIX-XX centuries to 1920s... from art nouveau to art deco.

Maybe I sound like a crazy OCD guy, but remember: anything that can be indexed and that has value for collectors (say, starting with $35 on an auction) begs for a catalog.

See how they have a studio/photographer logo and a number in the corner?

Any experts/collectors here?




While we're at it, it's surprisingly difficult to find anything that old here, and this is supposedly vintage erotica forum... I barely found threads dedicated to 100-year-old photos in the flood of doubling "hairy 1970s pussies" threads...

Someone posted 4 large rar files a while ago, each containing more than a thousand of these.

Not the highest resolution, but I did find a few new pics / new angles of pics I already had in these rar files, this could be more than a year back, cant seem to remember the thread though.

Hopefully someone else can direct you to these 4 rar files.

If there is no such catalog, we could create one online. Don't we index loops, magazines and scans here on the forum? (although I would recommend against using our forum for this purpose)

Useful not just for collectors, but for any of us, retro-perverts.

I started with saving only the best ones, so I could contribute the first hundred or so... but I'm not going to do it all alone.

:) I have catalogued postcards and images from this period by publisher and am more than happy to share the results. I have tried to collect the best examples wherever possible but there are probably better to be added. I am looking into RAR compression for the larger folders but as a start I hope this kicks things along.
