This is a really interesting one. Where did this picture pop up from after all these years?

I think it's for real.
After careful examination it looks like her body and the bikini looks exactly right.

It's only the face that looks a bit off, but maybe it's just been tidied up a bit.

Details like the dimple above her belly button, the exact length of the hair and all of the tiny marks on the costume being right, would set new standards of faking.

Her head looks too big and it's at an odd angle,Looks like a fake to Me as well.

I think its real, its in keeping with the rest of the Rolling Stone photoshoot from 1983 and is apparently from the Rolling Stone website.

Being a 70's child , i had the usual princess Leia thing that most boys of that time did .I've never seen this pic ,so after a bit of hunting around;)

Real perhaps ... but airbrushed to hell and back ... which was why Carrie didn't quite look like herself

I think her face has been editted in. Yes, there are a lot of pics, and it may be from the SNL skit where she flirts with all the characters from ROTJ, and there have always been a lot of BtS stuff that never went beyond the crew, but just looking at it, Ithink her face has been added in. Biggest clue for me in the chin, where is the shadow under her bottom lip? That's an error lots of fakers make when switching faces.

She had to lose weight for the filming of Jedi, so I always just assumed these publicity shots were taken a couple months after filming and she put on a few pounds.

The taping down of the boobs occured in A New Hope, not Return Of The Jedi.
