1fichier Download problems

Having a problem with these links, the download button does not seem to be working for me. I click it multiple times, but the download never starts. I get all the popups. This started for me about 3 weeks ago. I have tried Chrome and Edge (aka IE for Windows 10).

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Thanks

.. and right after I posted this, they started working. I had created an account, but have not found a card to pay with so far. I went to the login screen and cleared all options and logged in and it let me download again.

Sorry for the needless thread.

Had exactly the same problem, but it cleared yesterday.

Unfortunately, I am still having pop up issues with the site. Every time I click anywhere on the 1fichier page I get a pop up. Not just download button, but anywhere. Been happening for more than a week. Any suggestions?

m100 November 23rd, 2015 03:29 PM

Firefox+Adblock add-on=no popups.
Click tools in the browser, then add-ons, search for Adblock, install and you're good to go.

bkemadu November 24th, 2015 03:36 PM

Anyone bought a premium from them?

Is that good or bad compared to free access?

pjcnyc November 24th, 2015 04:05 PM

Thanks so much. Combo of Firefox and Adblock works perfectly! Wonder why Chrome hasn't picked up on this....?

m100 November 24th, 2015 08:17 PM

chrome seems to be having problems of it's own recently. there's been a couple of days here and there where it's been identifying files as malware/virus/malicious on some file hosts when they aren't.

thunderfly December 10th, 2015 08:51 PM

I get the same with 1fichier. Just pop-ups all the time. I've downloaded from them before but nothing doing at the moment. I often ask myself why these sites can't behave 'normally'. OK, I know they have to make money with ads but when the ads are non-stop and the download ain't happening, there has to be something very wrong.

theopoly December 10th, 2015 10:43 PM

Hi Guys the solution if using chrome (web page must be www.1fichier.com/...)
1 Tools -> Settings
2 show advance settings
3 Under Privacy heading -> content settings
4 Under Javascript heading -> Manage exceptions button
5 copy "1fichier.com" into box
6 Change allow to block -> finished

1fichier is 'manna-from-heaven' to me.

As an ex-Premium on RS, I am getting faster downloads from 1fichier. . . than I ever had before.

FOR FREE.

After 1.00 am Central Euro Time. they have a "Happy Hour"...the download speeds are phenomanal... trust me.

With ad-block on FF I have never seen an advert.

Earlier this evening I replaced my lost files of "The Diary" ~ softcore section.

About 800 MB per episode, 5-6 minutes each download. That is better than I ever got with a Premium Account on RS.

1fichier is the 'bees-knees'~~~the 'dog's-bollox"~~~ I really can't understand any complaint ~~ unlesss it's from a rival file-server.

?????

1fichier WAS ok. Now it simply does work not for me. Any suggestion about Internet Explorer?

BCFC_1982 December 21st, 2015 10:04 PM

Meini...if they are that good and great...maybe think about supporting them with a premium account?

File hosts come and go. File hosts change from time to time. 1fichier at one point was for the bread posters. It got away from that for a few years, but recently it's become more cumbersome. Those host that stick around for some time go in cycles. They will all probably bite the dust at some point.

I kind of keep my allegiance whichever way the wind seems to be blowing.

BCFC_1982 December 22nd, 2015 06:14 AM

Not sure what to stock with WB? The Empire or the Republic huh? :D

lagerlout December 22nd, 2015 11:20 AM

1fichier seems to be down at the moment ;(

BCFC_1982 December 22nd, 2015 11:32 AM

Agreed. Coincided with the part where I said....I trust them.

:o

alba December 22nd, 2015 02:35 PM

By the way, filepost anounces "Our sevices are completely closed. Thank you for your understanding." What's going on - some large scale attack? Or Santa Claus playng games?

Slayer80 December 22nd, 2015 07:51 PM

works sporadically. so they are not completely gone, it looks more like massive server-problems or similar difficulties. some files work, some don't.

Jenny48549 December 23rd, 2015 12:01 AM

1fichier is back up. They were doing upgrades to the service.

lagerlout December 23rd, 2015 03:34 AM

Still Can't upload to them & I'm getting PM's saying some of my A/C Files aren't working / Have been deleted. I'll check them when they're sorted themselves out & reup if necessary.

alba December 23rd, 2015 05:13 AM

For me everything works already perfectly, as in the good "old" times. It seems we overreacted. Merry Christmas everyone!

BCFC_1982 December 23rd, 2015 07:16 AM

Cannot connect to the FTP at the moment so uploading is a no go for me - anyone else got the same problem?

Cheers!

BCFC_1982 December 23rd, 2015 09:43 AM

Sorry mate for some reason I didn't think this meant FTP uploading...doh!

alba December 24th, 2015 05:33 AM

Hellas, Slayer80 is right - some files "obey", some don't. Obviously they have some problems.

lagerlout December 24th, 2015 05:43 AM

I appear to be able to FTP to them again @ the moment

EDit : Just A Heads Up

1st couple worked fine next two have dropped out twice b4 finishing ;(

thunderfly December 24th, 2015 02:01 PM

Does anybody actually have a premium account with any file host? The thing that stops me from having a premium account is that there are simply too many file hosts in use. You could open a premium account with one, only to find the film(s) you want to download are stored on another and you can't be expected to have a premium account with every one of them.

BCFC_1982 December 24th, 2015 02:22 PM

Yes, I have 3 with different hosts.

And yes, lots of stuff on other hosts that I'm not a member of.

And yes, that annoys me lol.

Anyway, Merry Christmas peeps.

Yup sites have gone like the wild west...not the sites fault though, today many hosters come and go, if we had a stable hoster the site would call the best, as in the past.

Maybe one day, but you have a point and it reflects in posting too.

Meini Again December 29th, 2015 05:29 AM

I don't know if they got paid per X amount of downloads, but one long time member on here religously used one file host ~~ for about 5/6 years ~~ and had really excellent 80s/90s softcore. A brilliant poster.Even if you had 5 or more links for a 750mb download.

But, the file host he used was rubbish for a free user. Now I read a post asking mods to delete all his links and posts. His file host may have gone down the pan, I don't know, I gave up years ago and just salivated at his posts.

I like 1Filchier. Firefox + Addblock etc. I don't see adds, but sometimes a new blank tab opens for a moment or two and then normal service.

In mid-morning European time, it's like "happy hour" and free users can download at Premium speed. I downloaded a 2.5GB film, in 3 links, in 45 minutes~~ included waiting of 9 and 3 minutes between resuming the d/l.

Whether they change in the future I don't know, but I have nothing but praise for their current service.

My only gripe with 1Filchier is the 2 months removal "if-not-used" on downloads.
Some good stuff has been removed because the uploader used a free service where this applies. Registered subscribers to 1Filchier do not get their uploads removed.

Shame.But there you go.

BCFC_1982 December 29th, 2015 06:10 AM

But they are a business...you can't expect them to host files freely forever for nothing....

vincez May 8th, 2017 01:54 AM

Not so much it - but Firefox

This might not be the best thread for this remark, but I searched the technical section and couldn't find anything else describing this problem.
I rely on public wi-fi networks to download content referred into V-E-F. Lately, I've had a snag where a number of downloads, almost all from 1Fichier, begin and end, with good speed, on the network. But at some point during my session, something kicks in and abruptly halts a download without actually terminating it or reducing its speed. Right now, I have a file sitting in my download library. It is 48.8 MB into a 695 MB download. Its speed is showing as 2.0 MB/sec. But it has been stopped at this point for about 25 minutes (and it could have finished 20 minutes ago if it continued to download at this speed). Notably, it won't let me cancel the download either. (Library falls into [Not responding].)
On-line searches for this snag, referencing Windows 8.1 (x64) and Firefox 53/52/51/50 turn up only pleadings, "Why is my download so slow / not finishing?" - Nothing about this incident. :(
I think it has something to do with my settings in Firefox, not 1fichier.
I've tried the remarks about refreshing the history of downloads. I've tried a few tweaks in "about:memory" and "about:config".
Did not work.
I am quite hesitant to pose this query in a technical forum, because I absolutely foresee some wiseacre on those sites making a remark about trying to download pr0n?
Does anybody here on V-E-F have a solid suggestion? Do you need more data about the computer I use to download the file?

kogi May 9th, 2017 07:00 AM

If you suspect Firefox to be the problem an obvious remedy is to try another browser or use jdownloader. Worth trying in order to pinpoint or rule out Firefox as the problem.

vincez June 5th, 2017 12:10 AM

Sometimes it is obvious.

I believe I have solved the problem.
It was the specific flash drive I was attempting to download the movie to.
I ran error checks on it. But it turned up 'OK'.
So, I tried another flash drive the next time I attempted downloading movies referred into V-E-F.
No sudden stops. Seemingly, there were bad sectors on this previous flash drive which, when a download hit them, just caused this snafu.

I have subscribed to 1Fichier at various times in the past.

I also found that they were pretty reasonable for free users. That's one reason why I was willing to buy into their system at times.

But lately they've been impossible. A 700 mb download schedules something like three hours, and as any brief network interruption will kick you out ... well, forget that.

So, I've only tried them for downloads of tiny clips, but even that's been impossible lately. Upon using their links, I always get a fake ransomware pop-up that requires me to restart my browser. If I try again, 1Fichier imposes a timeout due to the download I didn't get, and even when I manage to resubmit, the download invariably fails.

Yet, I see more and more uploaders using their service, which means I'll have less and less interest in these boards.

kogi August 28th, 2017 12:43 PM

Google jdownloader 2. A must have software for downloading from most hosts.
