Gambier actually appears in a couple of German films. She's in one Schulmädchen-Report (#11), and also the Hans Billian loop "Massagesalon Elvira" plus - yes! - one of the Mutzenbachers made by Gunter Otto. As you may or may not know, both Billian and Otto made Mutzenbacher sequels separately after having done the first one (with Patricia Rhomberg) together. After that they had a falling out and Billian directed "Die Beichte der Josefine Mutzenbacher" (the 86-minute one you saw?) while Otto made "Josefine Mutzenbacher ... wie sie wirklich war 2. Teil". Gambier is in this one. If I remember it right, it's a café scene.

Well, in one of the Mutzenbacher films, a girl from Nothern Germany (Andrea Werdien) played the title role - the technical miracle called dubbing made this unproblematic.

Hans Billian was actually unhappy about her performance, whilst many fans regard her as the best Mutzenbacher actress. I reckon she spoke her lines in North-German twang which just sounded wrong, and that impression stuck with the director.

...and both Mutzenbacher movies? There are more than a dozen!
