That's a point, I've got Noscripts on this machine and Livejasmin is getting straight past that, I've just had to kill it off again now. Checked through the 'white list' and there it was Livejasmin.com - how bizarre, how did that get in there? That is one I definitely would not have added to the list of allowed sites

Update: Working again - although I am not sure what I did. First I made sure that Noscripts was upgraded to the latest version, then I went through Redirector and made sure all the instructions had been correctly followed (i.e. things like the * symbols were in the correct place and that all of the instructions like javascript:window.close(); were present and correct). So I am not sure which one of these was not working before, and which one has started working again, but Livejasmin has been suppressed and no longer opens when I log on. Yippeee!

Hi,

I'm new to FF, and I was wondering if there is an add-on that allows you to upload files to filehosts (specifically DepositFiles and Filefactory)? Had a quick search, saw some for image hosts and downloading, but not uploading.

Depositfiles has its own free version that works fine for me called filemanager:

http://depositfiles.com/filemanager.html

works fine for me and I use Firefox. Can line up files and set to upload, walk away and it gets on with it in the background.

Best of luck.

ImageHost Grabber

I was wondering why nobody mentioned that before: Beginning with Firefox 11.0 ImageHost Grabber 1.6.5.9 is no longer compatible with Firefox. I really appreciate IHG as image download manager and would miss it if I upgraded FF. Does anybody know of a compatible IHG version or a similar valuable add-on?

Are you sure about the version number? All I can find is 1.6.5.5 & it works fine in FF 12.

If you're still having trouble you might want to try DownThemAll! AntiContainer.

"AntiContainer is an extension and framework to DownThemAll! which allows the user to download resources that are normally hidden behind container pages.

For instance almost all so called "one-click" image hosters, such as imagevenue, use such container pages. AntiContainer enables DownThemAll! to download the actual images there instead of just the page.

AntiContainer uses small "plugins" that will handle the specific container pages. A set of plugins is provided with the installation, but it is fairly easy to write new plugins, too."

One big advantage is that it allows you to download individual pics by right-click, something that IHG has always been in need of.

I tend to use it more than IHG for that reason, usually I don't want all the pics in a post & it's much better to add individual links to the DTA queue than to grab them all & sort them out later.

I'm using release 1.6.5.8 on FF 12. Working fine.

The actual version is 1.6.5.9. Have a look at http://imagehost-grabber.com/index.php?page=download

I upgraded to FF 12.0 - and IGH 1.6.5.9 is still active and working! The warning that it wouldn't be compatible anymore turned out to be a "hoax".

Thanks to your input I dared to give the upgrade a try eventually.

You may try it without risk. There is a portable version available. Install it in parallel and try if IHG will work. If not simply delete the parallel installation ;)
