how long do pictures last on VEF servers
 

If you upload pictures using the VEF uploader, how long do they last, some pictures say "no longer on this server" and have gone, some seem to have been here for many years, are they going to last decades or will they all drop off at some point.

VEF does not keep any pictures on its servers (other than forum stuff like banners and smilies, etc.). :)

The uploader you refer to is a regular picture host company called "Pimp and Host (dot) com" and is not VEF. They are like any other image service like imagebam,com; pixhost,org; imagebox,com; etc. except they have allowed VEF members to use their service to post pics on individual posts. :D

If you wish, you can contact pimpandhost,com and create your own account with them for easier posting anywhere on the wwweb. :thumbsup:

Every company has different lengths of time that pictures and/or thumbnails will be left on their servers. (Even the individual servers seem to make up their own minds on the subject ... but I digress. :o)

I'd assume for ever not with standing servers dieing , backups failing dmca take down notices etc like most of the rest with one difference in the
p & h terms of service

If your using excessive amounts of bandwidth they reserve the right to remove it

Only imagevenue has a similar message from what i've seen
