Michelle was born in California in the year 1944 she gained fame in the 1960s singing with the popular group ........ The Mamas and the Papas.
In 1977 she appeared in the movie " Valentino "

In 1998 Michelle was inducted into the " Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" She was also in the WB drama " 7th Heaven " She starred in " Knots Landing " for several seasons then in the mid 1990's she was in " Beverly Hills90210 " with Amber Theisen.
Sadly, now in 2008 , she is the only surviving member of the Mamas and Papas group.
