I think it is the "Go to first new post" button.

Post #201 "fabrizio" has finally figured out what I am talking about.
Now if only someone can tell me how to fix it.

It's gotten awfully quiet here, do any of you know how to get the "Go to first new post" button working again?

the button works, the issue is on your end. may clean your browser cache, like suggested, or maybe some other installed software or extension causes an unwanted side-effect.

also useful to know: the button you're talking about is only available for those threads you haven't visited after the last post was made.

Okay to repeat myself, I have tried it on 2 computers running firefox. 1 v8.0 the other with v3.6.24. The button still works on the Suze forum and it still works here on my IPad.
I would appreciate some advice on this.

where is "display options" at the bottom of the page
No I haven't changed my user details.

I don't see anything here that would help.

this is the link to the button. Use your computer search function, it might turn up.

or check if it has been blocked by one of your security functions.

that's about all I can do to narrow it down for you.

If it was a FF problem, then there would be a lot of complaints, so it must be a setting.

it turns out it was Addblock causing the problem.
I have had the header blocked for ages somehow the filter changed to a globle filter for all the images.
I am certain I didn't change anything.

Thanks for your efforts.

Visited Links Problem

After repeated requests to dl the latest version, I decided to do so after my version was behaving rather oddly.
I am now using version 10.0 and the problem I'm now faced with is my links no longer change color after being visited.
This is a real nuisance and wish I could go back to the way it was before.
This leaves me with no way of knowing what topics were already visited by me.
The links do change color after the page is refreshed, but constantly doing that can be a bother in itself...

Redirector stopped working

A couple of weeks ago I upgraded the FF on my PC to version 9. Today I thought that I would do the same for my laptop and discovered that FF 10 had been released, so I upgraded to that. Since upgrading to FF 10, I have noticed that Livejasmin keeps opening a page every time I log on to VEF. All my add ons, bookmarks etc seem to have come through the upgrade, but now Redirector - which had been functioning perfectly for me for well over 6 months seems to have stopped working. The same thing has been happening with FF 9 on my PC. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it some new sneaky change that Livejasmin has made that has nothing to do with FF? It's a minor nuisance having to go back to manually closing that window all the time.

Firefox 10 has been a bonus for me as addons that were not working under FF9 all now seem to be fine.

I use the Noscript addon and no livejasmin crap....
