This is truly upsetting :(

I knew Jeffrey for a few years, though we hadn't been in contact recently. We spent a lot of time chatting in Skype. I got to know him fairly well, or at least as well as you can not meeting in person ;)

My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

I didn't know the chap that well but he used to post some interesting stuff and once again I am sad to hear of another Mod passing on to that great forum in the sky. I hope he has found peace and probably looking down and thinking about what is being posted. Do we know what it was that he had or was it natural causes?

I didn't know Winebeavis but anyone that contributes to the forum and who helps keep its users safe will be missed by the community. I think unlike a lot of forums this one is more of a community with friendly banter and less aggressiveness than other sites. So to lose one of its own is always going to hurt. Especially to those that knew him on a more personal level away from the site itself.
RIP.

Aw crap. That's too sad. Thoughtful guy, and I was pleased to read of his Australian adventures.

RIP Winebeavis

I remember when I first joined VEF, Winebeavis was a great help, calm PMs to explain why I had used the wrong picture size, and with scounds, massive and patient instructions on how to do it right. Lots of personal comments about the Falklands thread, always supportive, a man I was proud to call a VEF friend, a huge loss to every member, I hope he is in the afterlife, getting a taste of the finest vintages and my heart is with his family. May he rest in peace.

WTF! :(
So sad to hear he's gone. I've always enjoyed reading his posts.

The Great Cornholio is now in Heaven. May he rest in peace.

In a post on FB his dear wife refers to a sudden heart attack on Sunday morning.

He had only just, in the last two weeks, bought a new vehicle.

By my reconning Jeff was only 48 years old.......terrible terrible.....so young and such a nice chap :(

To think what his wife and close family are going through......:(

We should all get out today and hug those close to us...................no excuses........no putting off.............get out and hug the ones you love and that love you right back..........

Sentiments echoed.

Truly tragic news at such a young age.

Virtual VEF hugs to our comrades.

Take care all.
