Not sure why she wasn't a bigger star. It could have been her choice or someone else's or just something we don't know. Joan was a beautiful woman. She kind of reminded me of Bridget Monet. They were similar looking.

Regarding the Seka avenue, I bought and read her recent autobiography, and in one of the chapters she discusses some of her fellow performers from the late 70s/early 80s. I was hoping Joan would be in there but Seka didn’t mention her. It’s a shame because I thought she looked better with Seka than any other female from that era.
