TM, stop reading the label and tell us what it really tastes like.... (Merry Christmas mate I hope Chicago is not too cold)

Merry Christmas

I don't know what you mean. I buy about 20 of these imported beers/ales from a huge liquor store in the downtown area of Chicago. It has over 2500 imported and 1500 different domestic brews. I put about 4 at a time in the fridge. There is no information on the label except the name and alcohol content. I drink the beer and note down the flavor and then report on it in this thread. BTW I have been providing the basic taste of the beer/ale, so I am confused by your post. The temperatures in Chicago have been warmer than normal for the last week.
Merry Christmas to all our English friends on VEF, and a joyous New Year (unless POTUS Trump messes things up)

Perhaps they're trying to get you drunk and get hold of your money?

This is my daily beer today. Lobster Lovers Beer from Lithuainia. Alcohol 9.5%. The high alcohol content gives a biting taste with your first sip, but I got used to that after awhile. This beer has a strange cloudy orange hue to it and there is some type of sediment floating in it. I don't know what that sediment is, but it did not affect the taste. Extremely malty with a taste of apple fruitiness mixed with cherry and grape.

This was my beer today. Singha Premium Lager form Thailand, commonly found in liquor stores, supermarket liquor depts, and drug store liquor depts. Low alcohol content. Pours a pale yellow. Has a caramel sweetness, but a bitter aftertaste. Nothing special.
