The US Constitution (not the ship)

This great piece of laws/rights was written over 200 hundred years ago, & many of our amendments to the constitution are very old & dated too.Do some think it could be updated to change to the demands of a modern society, of changing conditions & customs, etc.?

The Constitution has provisions written in to it for amending and changing it as the country decides is necessary. The fact that we haven't done so recently would seem to indicate that most people don't feel it is necessary at this time.

An amendment that needs a condiment.

If we decided to call a new Constitutional Convention, it probably wouldn't work. Too many fringe elements would make their demands absolute, so the compromise needed wouldn't be achieved.

No, the only bears here are in zoo's or a circus maybe. But if I could, I'd eat it's arms ;)

Oh, and to keep it on topic, I'd change that stupid law where the POTUS must have been born on US soil. Is that even in the constitution

I only added that too keep it on topic, because I really don't care:D

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-me...only-27-amend/

So out of 11,000 plus attempts to amend the Constitution only 27 (including the first 10 - Bill of Rights) have passed?

The last serious attempt I heard was the ERA like thirty years ago. http://mentalfloss.com/article/24412...ust-missed-cut

That's right  and just to make the laws non discriminatory :) Vegans have too also

Errr,

I'd also making voting compulsory for all of legal age, just so you all can't complain when you're not satisfied with your government,

Bears are exempt from voting
